Hi there,
Don't know if you saw my reply under the other thread because the mods deleted it because I thanked you in Latin. I had said I was beginning to sound like a broken record thanking you for helping me to feel better all the time, so maybe I'd do it in another language. Guess that wasn't cool. So much for being funny.
Anyway, in case you didn't see it, thanks AGAIN for your reply on the skin/arm/leg sensitivity issue. It does seem to come and go, and I had it more earlier in the year when my mom was having health issues (you may remember my posts back then asking if external stress could affect inner ear probs) and I was trying to finish my master's. Maybe I've had a hint of it again now because of preparing for this new teaching job. Anyway, your comments of it feeling like a sunburn are interesting, because it definitely can feel semi-painful for a few seconds at times, and it comes and goes -- it's not a constant sensation. Not sure what that's about, though my doc mentioned that stress responses can happen when you're not completely aware that you are having stress, i.e. the response isn't immediate or an exact one-to-one correlation if you get what I mean. Anyway, it also seems to happen when I have blips, so maybe the stress of the blip brings it on. It's a weird sensation anyway; not really sure if it's skin or muscle or what. I hate how many ways this junk can mess with your body and mind.
I am feeling a bit better. This blip has only been a couple weeks, and like I told Scott, it's no where near the feelings I had when I first got this junk, so that's a blessing. You just get used to feeling normal for a while, then a small set back seems like such a big bummer. I did the MEPs for about a week, when they seemed to stall a bit, so I took a break for a few days and then last night before bed I did one to see what would happen. I hardly felt anything at all in the first position with my head to the right (my affected side), and only the usual 5 seconds or so in the last position. Maybe that means progress of some kind! Maybe I'm getting those things moved around in there!
I hope you are doing well.
T
