Life, you mentioned something about unexplained brusing? what is that, i have been getting marks all over my body, they seem like something might have scratched me leaving a bruise that scabs and then dries out. also, i get tingling in my fingers and i have white tongue and painful bumps in my private parts, i have HS1 (herpes Simplex 1). Do you know if this is a reason why? my symptoms seem very close to yours, what are your scars like, can you describe them in depth????? Thanks

Very strange we both have herpes. Mine is a type 2...genital herpes, given to me by my now ex fiancee.
I was very ill with it, because my outbreak was severe. I experienced blistering, could not urinate and ended up in hospital on a cathetar, I had fever, swelling of lymph nodes in my groin and I was just so sick and ever since I got herpes I have not been entirely well.
Another strange thing is that I too get numbness in my fingers and also my feet. Hereps affects the nervous system, as it lives in the base of our spine. It can cause mild nerve damage to the areas affected by the breakout and it can really make you feel tired and run down. As for the bruising I cannot explain why I bruise so easily now, since getting the herpes. One thing you may wish to know is that herpes does not only appear genitally or on the mouth, it can be spread to other parts of the body if you have a breakout...could the '' bruising/scabbing'' be that?
My doctor says I am fine, but as I said in a previous post, I had so many symptoms of HIV, yet thank the lord my test came negative. I swear the herpes has caused havoc on my body and I am still trying to ajust to it. Some people don't get it as severe as others, it all depends on the individual.
I would love to give you some information about some of the better Herpes web sites, but not allowed to on this site, sorry to say. The best thing I did for myself was research the herpes virus. It took me about 4 months of constant research, chat rooms to learn what it is all about. Knowing you have herpes, I think that you will find a lot of your symptoms can be related to the fact it can run down your immune system. Have fun with your research and here's to better health - Best Regards - LC
