Hi everyone, I have a few questions. I have been experiencing flank pain off and on for quite some time now and didn't really recognize it until it recently became more pronounced when I came down with what I think was the flu. I had sharp pain under my rib cage in my side and then I've had pains that extend down the front and back of my right side. The pain is the worst when I need to urinate and feels better to pee usually but it is not what I'd call severe at all, just generally present (for a week now straight). I also had what I believe was blood in my urine for a few days. The urine was orangey pink in color and I could see the color change especially on toilet paper. I went to the doc today and my urinalysis was normal (urine color also has been normal for about two days now). I definetely do not have an infection. I have been diagnosed with lupus by my family doc but I'm waiting for a visit with a rheumatologist in October to secure a diagnosis. What could this be? I have had swelling (eyes, feet, hands) off and on for several weeks now. I also have been quite nauseous for the past two weeks or so and have taken a pregnancy test which was negative because it's not really going away for long. Anyway, any advice any of you experts can offer would be very helpful to me. Hope you have a good day!
