I had a missed miscarriage in Dec. of 2003 and I had to have a D&C. Since then I have been having lower abdominal pain I have been to my doctor and he said nothing is wrong. I am also starting to have cramps during AF (never had cramps before). The pain feels almost as bad as it did a day after the D&C. Every now and then it gets really bad during sex. Is this normal?

I strongly suggest you see a different doctor. Pain during sex tends to be a common sign of Endometriosis. Though it can be a sign of other problems.
As for cramps during AF,that can happen. Our bodies do change even if things have to been the same for years.
When you see the different doctor explain what has been going on and start with the missed miscarriage and the D&C. I should say the only way to truly check for Endo is through a minor sugery called laposcropy(sp). So if a doctor does a pelvic or ultrasound and says you are ok and things still continue insist on more through testing.

Hi! First of all, I'm sorry for your loss.
I also had a missed miscarriage in August 2003 which I had to have a D&C. I didn't experience any pain during sex and my cramps have always been pretty bad so I can't really help you there. I think I would get a second opinion.
