I was diagnosed with SVT about a month ago and put on Toprol XL. When I went for my appointment at the cardiologist yesturday he said he thought the holter test result didnt show SVT and Ordered a echo and a TILT TABLE TEST. Has anyone had a tilt table test? He said its suppose to make me have an episode (he also took me off the toprol). Im not sure what hes looking for and to talk with anyone who has had this test would be helpful! Thanks!!

I had a TTT and by it the tachy seen on my holter was diag as Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia, I was diagnosed with neurocardiogenic syncope, too. I am now treated for both and feel much better.

It can show the different mechanisms of syncope or near syncope, lightheadedness. It can help diag POTS, too. There may be other things, but I don't know.

You may be able to get a little more info at the NDRF site.
