Everytime I put on one of those tight t-shirts, no matter how much deotorant I put on you can always see sweat marks. Its so gross, it looks like I sweat like crazy but I don't. I've tried the strongest over the counter brands I could find and nothing seems to work. i was wondering if a doctor can prescribe something super strong to stop this?

A friend of mine tried something like this. I will get the info from her and post it soon. I will try to call her today. Yes, I believe she got something from her doctor.

Sounds weird but some Dr's are injecting botox in the

Hi GummiGurl! I have had the same problem and I have found a product called Certain-Dri. You can buy it at most any drug store. It is over the counter and it works! I used to have the same problem and because of it, it limited what I could wear. Now I can wear anything. But let me tell you this, the first few times you use it, your arm pits will sting/itch like crazy, but after a few uses, it will go away. I used it for 2 weeks straight, and now I use it every 2-3 nights just in case. Try it, it worked for me. Good Luck!!

Hi,
The Drysol you can get over the counter here in Canada, don't need a prescription. I just went to the pharmacy and asked for a bottle. It's a dab on product. The only thing is, when you dab it on, it stings and makes you want to itch like mad. It says to apply once a day only at bedtime. Well I didn't sleep much the times I tried it..it was awful. You definately would not want to shave your armpits beforehand either! Would be a better product for people with very sweaty palms or feet, as your underarm has way tender skin compared to these areas.

yeah boo-boo. certain dri works for me too. i had to try EVERYTHING before i found it. i still get the itchy bumps though. at least i only use it about once a week. also--one of my roomates has the same problem. she tried drysol but she now uses certain dri and says it works the same as drysol without all the irritation. so, gummi, try certain dri first. hope it works. the sweat can just make you feel so nasty, can't it!

I have had 3 treatments of botox for headaches and muscle pains. He told me that botox can stop excessive sweating for up to 2 years with 1 treatment. They give you shots under the arms to control it. If you do it ask your doctor a lot of questions and see if he has any training to do botox. Check around to get a doctor with training to know where to give the shots. Make sure he uses a diabetic need so it doesn't hurt much. Also he should change needles because they get dull after a few shots. Good Luck

My daughter had the same problem and she was prescribed dri-sol by our doctor. You use it at night, and she said it worked fantastic. She had the same problem on the palms of her hands, and it worked for that, too. Eventually, she outgrew the problem (she's 21 now - was 18 when she tried the dri-sol). It lasts a very long time and usually there are refills when it is prescribed.
