A week ago I went to my gyno for a soar nipple (right) he was able to squeeze some whitish fluid out - hurt badly. I was to continue warm compresses and squeezing - I only got a little redish fluid out. Went for a mammogram yesterday and ultra sound and the tech doing the ultrasound found a cyst and was nice enough to point it out. Ok now I very worried my breast is very soar. I see my Gyno on Monday to review the results. I will call today or Friday, just to see if he has anything. Has anyone every experienced this? What type of doctor normally handles this types of situation? I didnt think Gyno's did breasts surgeries.

Hi! I had a similar problem and from what I am learning, sore, engorged breasts and discharge is most likely hormonal - also, I have learned cysts can also develop from a hormone inbalance. Is there any reason you may have an imbalance? did you start, stop or double up on birth control pills....are you close to menopause or perimenopause? I can't say for sure, but i know how awful those sore breasts can be!! I feel for you!! good luck!
