Hey guys!

I'm entering the 3rd Month of constant dizziness and it seems to keep getting worse. I'm so spaced out and feeling sick I am getting really worried now. I went back to the doctor and he's gonna try and get me a quicker appointment with the ENT.

I keep getting really anxious and have started getting pins and needles and tingling in my hands and feet. This has only started since the anxiety started...but I'm worried.

I feel like I'm gonna pass out any moment. But I'm still getting the feelings of vertigo...like I'm falling or moving when I'm not. Can anyone sympathyse with these symptoms?

Kelly

Hi Groovyk,

Well, you've come to the right place if you want to be with people who understand exactly how you feel. How did your dizziness start?

Most people here do/did have anxiety because of there dizziness/virtigo. They seem pretty much to go hand in hand. Some doctors will say that the virtigo is due to stress/anxiety but in most cases here, the dizziness/virtigo IS the cause of our anxiety. Anxiety can cause the tingling feeling you are experiencing, probably due to not breathing properly. Try some relaxing exercises. If you feel you cannot cope with your anxiety, there are some medication that can help you. Too much anxiety can interfere with you getting better.

Continue reading the posts here, you will learn a great deal. You are NOT alone.

You will get through this!!! Hang in there!

Thanks MPaiement!

I had an ear infection in Dec 2003 and since then its been down hill. I had another ear infection a few months ago and months before that my hearing went funny. I want to go private to try and speed things up but don't know how to go about it. I live in the UK.

Thanks!

Kelly
