I'm new here...I had a baby 10 months ago and for the past two months I've been a basket case. Totally convinced I'm dying. First, I hurt a nerve in my toe after wearing uncomfy high heels for too long, then I started to get tingling in my hands and feet... my doctor told me to calm down and start breathing through a paper bag. Then, because I'm carrying around a heavy baby, and I'm really tense, I pinched a nerve somewhere and started to get a tingling finger...so I assume it's a brain tumor. Anyway, after keeping silent for SO LONG, I finally went to the doctor today. She told me a probably have increased anxiety...

Anyway, she gave me some pills...I forget which ones, but I'm going to start them tonight. I was just wondering if anyone has tried Yoga or accupuncture to relieve the symptoms?

My husband and I have just recently started doing a yoga tape and I am finding it very helpful. I have seen several tapes on Amazon that are made specifically for before and after birth. You might like it as well. Good luck. I hope you find the relief you are after

Another alternative treatment that can't hurt to try is vitamin C 5 grams twice a day, (if you get diarrhea lower the dose but you probably won't, and niacinamide 250-500mg twice a day, plus a B-50 capsule every day. I personally know two people who have been helped by this for anxiety.

be wary of yoga classes as a severe panic attack on the yoga mat will make you worse

the needles amy help but few report much help

what are the pills?
