I have a reddish/pink line of raised skin about 1mm across underneath my penis which starts halfway down and continues up to my foreskin and glans. I am uncircumscised. There appears to be no individual wartlike growths but a line, almost like a scar running up the underside of my penis. The skin is raised but painless. I have had 2 STD tests with this that i can think of, i did not point it out to the doctor but he did not say anything about it either. I'm not sure when it came, but i have a vague feeling i've had it for ages, but that could be my mind playing tricks on me. Do you think i should get checked again and specifically point it out? How likely is it that a wart can appear as one long line?

Many thanks

Paul

Well, I have HPV and although most of my warts are gone, a few did start out as a line, but they were never as straight as what you are describing. In fact, I could always discern between individual warts. Don't know if that helps or not...

It sounds like a normal part of the anatomy, but ask a doctor to be sure.

It sounds like your frenulum. Has it always been there?
