I have stenosis which is steadily getting worse. I have an appointment at a spine clinic but untill then would like to hear from others what tests are done and what treatments you have had that work, and ones that do not seem to work. Thankyou

I could hardly walk because of stenosis. I went to an orthopedic spine specialist who did a laminectomy and fusion.

Flyonthewall, how long ago was this and did the surgery help you? Do you have any other problems anymore?

My biggest problem was a locking pain in my butt when I would bend or twist, and numbness/tingling in my legs when I tried to walk. He did the laminectomy for my legs and, because my back was so unstable, he did a 4-level fusion with BMP. I had the surgery 6/15. I'm doing great.
