I had lasik surgery 7 years ago and my daughter had it about a year and a half ago and we have both been very pleased with the results. I think that some doctors are better than others as far a accurate results go so I asked our optometrist for advice on who to go to for the surgery and so we had the good results. I know that some people have trouble with side effects afterwards, but we didn't have any.

I had good results with it too. I first had it done in Feb. 2002. I went from seeing 20/400 (legally blind) to seeing 20/30 in a matter of minutes. When I had my 2-week check up, it had corrected to 20/20. In January 2004 I noticed that I wasn't seeing as good as I had just after surgery. My eye doctor suggested I have it "tweaked" a little, so I did (the cost of that was covered in the initial payment), and I haven't had any problems since. I'm very glad I did it. I always tell people that if I could go back in time, and carry the knowledge of present-day with me, and make the decision to do it again or continue wearing glasses, that I would definitely still do it again.

I had Lasik eye surgery about 4 yrs ago and it was the best money I've ever spent! I came out seeing 20/15 and highly recommend it, if you can afford it!
Any DON'T go to the cheapest doc you can find - do your research on the docs in your area! I paid $3800 but it was still worth it - wish I had done it earlier!

Does anyone know any good doctors in Oklahoma that perform Lasik?

I'm in Oklahoma. Dr. Mark Able did mine. He's in the Tulsa area. He's with Triad Eye Clinic. Everyone that I talked to about said he was the best.

I had LASIK about 3 weeks ago. I had a great experience! It was worth every penny and more!

I had it less than 1 week ago. Best money I ever spent!! I have another recheck this Friday.
