I have only posted on this board once. If you want to know my full story, then read the only thread I have posted. It should still be on PAGE ONE.

To make a long story short, I have only had 3 sexual partners in my life, all of them being boyfriends of mine. I have only had one unprotected sexual encounter with my second boyfriend. I was only exposed to his pre-cum [he was inside of me unprotected for a few minutes], and this incident happened a few years ago. I have been with my current boyfriend for the last few years and I want to get married and have kids with him and I just don't want this worry of HIV to be hanging over my head. I tend me have major anxiety over things that are health related.

Therefore, I am going to my Gyno today and getting tested for all STD's including HIV. I do not exhibit any classic HIV symptoms, nor do I think my second boyfriend is HIV+. I just need piece of mind.

PS: How long did those of you who have been tested have to wait for your reults? I want them as quickly as possible, but I know that I may have to wait a week or two. :(

Hi Michelle! Thanks for replying. Oh man, I don't want to wait 9 days! Ugh.

As for the testing...it had to be delayed until TOMORROW. My Gyno told me that health insurances sometimes don't cover HIV testing and that it could end up costing me over a hundred bucks if insurance didn't cover it. Therefore, I am just going to go to the county health department tomorrow, during there walk-in hours and get a free test done.

I am really bummed. I wanted it done today. I hate putting this off. I just want this all done and over with so I don't have to sit her and worry anymore.

So tomorrow it is...

Please still answer with how long it took for you guys to get results back. I am curious.

Me and the boyfriend are BOTH going tomorrow. He got tested right before we met and was negative, but on the slim slim slim chance that I were to be infected [and I could have infected him], I want him and I both go and get tested. This way we both can hopefully get NEGATIVES and carry on to live our long, happy, monogamous, soon to be married, and start having kids life together. hehe.

I just want to get this done and over with already!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!
