Hi, i had a possible exposure a long time ago. I got a negative ELISA at 36 months from that date. I'm a healthy male and call me paranoid, but i'd like a second opinion on this. Would you consider a negative ELISA at 36 months conclusive. I mean i read somewhere if someone progresses to the final stage of AIDS, then theres a slim chance that they'll false negative. But what do you all think, negative ELISA for hiv1 and 2 at 36 months, conclusive?

A negative test after 36 months is totally conclusive!

awesome, i was just worried about that thing i read about the very unlikely chance of false negatives in the final phase of aids. I guess too much internet surfing can't be good for you. But yah, i see a lot of paranoia on these boards, including myself. But i guess there just so much fear of the virus that it's really misunderstood.
