Hi does anyone know if the topical medication (paste) will work to remove skin tags? I have one on each inner thigh..and they are getting painful. Going to the dr isn't possible right now since I work at home and don't have the same hours...let me know if any one has tried it...I think it's called BIO-T...
Thanks aloopner :)

I have a small skin tag on my neck and my mother who is a nurse always tells me that if I ever wanted to get it removed just let her or the doctor know ASAP. I guess she doesn't like the look of it but it's so small and I'm like it's apart of me.

But yes if they are starting to hurt it's good to let the doctors remove it.

I hope you mean they are uncomfortable because of chafing. I am pretty sure that skin tags, or any other growth on your skin that begins to hurt is reason to see a Doctor. Pain for no reason is an indication they may be more than just a benign skin tag.

As the person above me said, skin tags aren't supposed to hurt. If it hurts, it might be something else. You should see a doctor.

My doctor said to just clip of skin tags with nail clippers. Actually I just pull them off with my fingers.
