View Full Version : If I can save one woman from this, anemia due to overlooked uterine fibroid.

My particular case began with a history of borderline anemia which took a sudden turn about ten years ago into the chronic anemia area.

The doctors reviewed my digestive tract for bleeding.. none.

This went on for about ten years... with me getting more worn out over time.

Finally they found out a fibroid had been responsible.

I wish they had found this earlier, for I am paying for this even after it had been removed in November of 2003.

For the ladies that think they just have a heavy period monthly as I thought... wouldn't hurt to check it out with a scan. Turns out it isn't normal to have what looks like clots with the monthly.

Wish I had known.
