I am in desperate need of advice from others who have had gallbladder problems. Is it possible to have a normal HIDA scan and ultrasound but still have pain from gallbladder? If your gallbladder goes untreated, can it start to hurt all the time no matter what? Can movement(lifting, walking...) aggrevate gallbladder if left untreated? I have been suffering since feb. The pain on my right side, level with my bellybutton on my back and abdomen. it goes about 3 inches down from that spot and up to the bottom of my ribcage and in my right shoulder blade, sometimes down my right leg. It used to only come after i ate fatty, fried, greasy foods, Now it hurts every day, all day-BADLY!!. I have had pretty much everything done(digestive disease doctors, urologists, gynocologists..) All have suggested i go into therepy for pain managment. I am not ready to give up and accept it yet. Is it worth getting a second hida scan? or would my gallbladder not hurt all the time, and it could be something else. They suggested it could be adhesions from appendectimy 2 years ago. HELP!

It does not sound like Gallbladder problems. They are below the rightside rib cage mostly in the front!!

savanna,
I think it sounds VERY much like a gallbladder problem. You will be AMAZED at the relief you can get with a gallbladder flush.
If the stones are soft, you can still have lots of problems without them showing up readily on scans.
My last flush got me several hundred stones and wonderful relief...even from the shoulder pain!
Nothing to lose by trying.
