Hi guys and gals,
Ok you might get this alot. I have really really bad pores on my noise. Im 21 (male), I have it worse than most people I see, infact ive never seen anyone with pores on the noise as bad as mine. you might think im over exaggerating, but its kinda gross to me. I shower 2 to 3 times a day, I wash my noise everytime im in the shower, I use estringents, I even went to the dermitologist (6 month waiting list) And all they gave me with this cream for putting my face while I sleep. however that didnt do anything, just made my skin burn, and I couldnt sleep. I read about stuff on the internet, I tried that Pore Sucker thingy from the home shopping network, ive tried those pull off stripes. I mean this is really hurt my self confidence. I read somewhere to wash my face for 15min in hot water, than use potato jucie to dry it up and clean it out. 5min after I was done my noise was back to its old oily self. Do you guys have any sujjestions I could try?

I have the same problem and I've found Neutrogena Deep Clean Oil Control Mask really helps. The directions say to use it a few times a week, but I put it on my oily areas/enlarged pores twice a day. It REALLY helps shrink those pores and takes away all the oiliness, at least temporarily. Worth a try!

I think you should stop taking showers 3 times a day. That may make it worst. By showering 3 times a day you are irritating the skin, and causing your oil glands to produce more oil. You could try using a at home chemical peel kit once a week. Combine that with saint ives aprakot scub( I cant spell)
sorry. Use that twice a day. I am currently experementing with 28,000 iu topical vitamin E. I am appling it a night time. Also taking in lots of vitamin A will help you clear up too. 50,000 iu-200,000 aday. Try using beta caratine only tho.

LipidSama,
I have had oily skin all my life and it really sucks. Your makeup turns orange after it's been on for a while and you just feel dirty all the time. I can understand why you take a shower so much. I think people with oily skin are the cleanest people ever!
Anyway I can tell you I have used everything on the market and never have found anything that takes away the problem for good. It's just one of those things that inherited.
But there is one thing that works for me. This may sound strange but believe me it works. Go buy some Organic Apple Cider Vinegar and rub it on your face. It talks away the oil and clears my skin up amazingly. Also try Zinc cream and use it at night. This has worked also for my 20 yr. old son who suffers like you!!!
Good Luck

Are you supposed to rinse it off? Or are you using it kinda like toner? If you leave it on, does the smell go away once it dries?
Sometimes, especially in the summer, I use rubbing alcohol. I know that it makes it worse, but sometimes I can't resist. It just feels so nice when you first use it...

Get a cotton ball and use it as a toner. The smell is strong but it does go away. After a while you can rinse it off but it will restore your skin to it's proper pH.
Give it a try but make sure the apple cider vinegar is organic.
Hope it works for you
