Hi everyone! I just started taking Ultram for pain and one thing I notice is that my eyes are really dry. I know one of the side effects are dry mouth, but dry eyes? I wear contacts, so for me this is a bad side effect. Also, I notice that I am shaking slightly. Has anyone else tried this drug and had similar side effects?

The only thing I got from Ultram was side effects, but it does work for some people.
Have you tried eye drops for your eyes. Think you can get lubricating drops OTC.

I've tried it, and it didn't help me at all. It was given to me in the hospital, and I got itchy. I thought it was from being in bed, and not having a bath. I took a second dose, and I felt like scratching my ear off.

How weird, I just started Tramadol as well and had the very same effects. My heart was racing all day and my hands wouldn't stop shaking. I then talked to my Dr. and he said it was a very common effect, but to not stop taking it. He reccommended cutting the pill in half, and says that he actually takes Tramadol and that's what he does. So far it's been working out a lot better.
Hope this helps!
oh yes, and also don't drink coffee while you're on it, it seriously makes the heart-racing/shaking ten times worse.

Ultram didn't do a thing for me. It was like taking nothing at all. What a waste of time it was. I flushed the junk down the toilet. It was worthless.
