I realize that this is probably an oxymoronic question, but is it possible to get rid of a "permanent" scarring from burns? And if so, how? I'm asking because when I was younger (3 or 4), I was burnt on my right hand with a pot. And even till this day, over a decade later, the scar is still there!! It's about an inch long, so it's quite noticeable, and it kind of resembles wrinkled skin. The only cool thing about it is that it's the shape of a teardrop, LOL. So, I'm just wondering... is there anything I can do to get rid of this? (Please don't say get a tattoo, LOL! ;)) Thanks in advance!

I'm wondering if those new scar reduction products that you tape over the scar would work for you? Apparently they're available over the counter. Can't remember the brand name, but I've seen full-page ads in magazines.

There is always plastic surgery. Have you seen a Plastic surgeon?
