I was just informed after reviewing my ultrasound that I have an small fluid filled ovarian cyst and need to recheck in december with another ultrasound. I've read on that avoiding caffeine and using progesterone cream may help reduce it or prevent others from arising- but my gyn did not mention anything and of course I did not ask since I started getting information after her nurse called me. Does anyone have any suggestions or something that worked for them? I've also read about herbal tinctures but am leary of messing with herbs since I am not at all versed in that area. Thanks for any input!

When I had one it went away when my period came. Also they say that getting on Birth Control pills helps prevent them as well.
