Hi! I just used my first glycolic peel today(30%). I am trying to spot treat for a couple pitted scars and for smoothing out blotchy skin. Please share anything you find may be beneficial for me while using this product, along with your experience with copper peptides and exfol cream. Thanks!!!

I doubt 30% will do much for you. It is pretty mild. I used to use it, but switched to 50%, and it does smooth your face, however, I don't think it takes off enough skin to remove scarring.

well, it is worth a try. I have fairly sensitive skin. I am also not just using the 30% glycolic acid peel. I am using other scar treatments. Anyone else?

Ive been using 60 percent glycolic , Im 27 with sun damage and fine lines and some pitted scars on my face too. Ive been using the 60 percent wich has smoothed my face and gave me a brighter complexion, however has left 3 more slightley pitted scars aroung my chim and cheek area. so be carefull with the stuff.

Wow!!! So basically..the glycolic acid did nothing for your pitted scars but make more of them?? That sounds strange. Yikes!! How often do you apply the 60% on your face and did you start off with a lower percentage?? Let me know!! Thanks!!!!

Hi I started off with 40 percent on my skin at first it felt really strong, I would put it on starting with the forhead for 1 to 2 minutes, then move to the next area and do the same. It was hard to leave it on any longer than 2 min because it burned so much. After 4 peels of the 40 percent once per week I moved to 60 percent because I wanted faster results, I left the 60 percent on for a little to long a little over 2 minutes, after a couple of days my face started to slightly peel and scab a little I didnt know you should not let the scabs dry out, you are supposed to keep neosporin on them at all times so the scab remains soft and the skin underneath will heal without a scar. So I am alot more cautiouis , as for the new slightly indented scars I have from that, I will remain using the 60 percent and after time they will smooth out because the layers of new skin keep rebuilding, I have been using neosporin and pure cocobutter to help with the healing, I also want to try emu oil, its suposed to be the best healing/antioxident/omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids for the skin.

yeah i thought i ordered 3 step of glycolic acid. One 10%, 30%, 50%. But they only sent me 50% so I was desprate and used it. Now my skin is awful. I just wanna do a microdermabrasion and get rid of all of the scabbs because I have school Monday. Could someone give me some suggestions?? Will it be a problem if I rub the scabs off?? Im never going do a peel again.
