hi. maybe someone out there can help me. i have been struggling with this problem for 2 years now. i weigh 138 pounds and it is all in my belly. i look pregnant. it started after a laser/laproscopy for endometriosis about 2 1/2 years ago. my belly wont go away and is becoming quite painful. i get gas pains sooooo bad i double over and cry when i have a bowel movement. i sometimes see undigested food i ate the day before and very very smelly. or sometimes after i eat about 6-8 hours later i will poop and it will look and smell like what i ate. seriously. could this be because of my surgery. i had one 4 years ago too but this didnt happen till my last one. i am at my wits end. i no longer have an appetite and part of it is due to fear of the pain. i also get horrible lower back pain and right leg pain. and my poopies are very thin or diarreha. my last surgery came back negative for endo. on any of my reproductive organs. could it be possible to have it else where and not there? could this be due to adhesions from prior surgeries and if so why would it just start getting severe now? or maybe it is just getting worse from me putting it off as a lil diarreha and a belly ache. i dont know. my dr. did test my poop for blood it was positive. but he doesnt seem too concerned because of my history of endo. it is fri. night and i go back to him sunday afternoon. any suggestions would help me out. i dont know how to talk to him about this. my age is 26 if that is any help. oh, i also have vomiting with pain if i eat too much. example of a meal for me that isnt too painful: 1 chicken leg, 5 bites of mashed potatoes, a couple bites of green beans and half a biscuit. anything over that and im hurting. and saucy, spicy stuff makes me vomit/poop blood.

PLEASE SOMEONE IF YOU HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED THIS OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS HELP ME OUT. PLEASE. I AM STILL YOUNG SO IT IS KINDA EMBARRASSING TO TALK ABOUT POOP TO MY DR. OR ANYONE REALLY. BUT NOW THAT I AM LOSING WEIGHT RAPIDLY IT HAS GOT TO BE HANDLED THE RIGHT WAY AND I NEED MY DR. TO TAKE THIS MORE SERIOUSLY. THANK YOU.

Hello joey,
when I first read your post I though IBS but the blood part is not IBS. not sure what that is, You should tell your doctor. believe me, they've heard worse things, this is your health and nothing is more important.
just take a deep breath and say and doc, this is going on....
these boards are a great source of info, look around alot. sometimes it takes awhile for people to post replies, alot of folks read here that are not members,so they don't post replies, don't get down about it!!]
good luck to you, keep us posted

Its very important that you discuss all these problems with your doctor. It is embarrassing to discuss bowel problems with anyone. But doctors hear it every day its part of there job. Tell him all that is going on with you and don't let him blow off the blood he found in stool samples. This along with all the other symptoms your describing could be any number of things.
I really doubt very much it has anything to do with the surgery you had. Sounds like you should have further test done to see what is causing your bowel and stomache problems. Upper and lower G.I. series. or a colonscopy done for sure.
