Ok this is kinda graphic but how long does it take for you to have a bowel movement after you have a colonoscopy. I had mine 2 days ago this time and I ate about 46 hours ago after it. Does it take that long for you to go? I'm kinda worried.

It was about three or four day before I had a bowel movement after my colonoscopy. It took about a week or more for me to get back to "normal." The prep really cleans everything out of you from the stomach on down. It also removes the healthy bacterium that helps you form good stools. I should have started taking some acidophilus right after the procedure, but waited a couple of days. My first stools were very loose due to all of the Fleet laxative I had to take. They then went hard because of the lack of the healthy bacteria. As soon as the acidophilus started working, I was back to normal.
