Just wondering if anyone has tried this new loreal color, where you apply base color and then apply highlights? I bought chocolate macaroon but still haven't use it yet....skeptical and personally I am not too keen on orange highlights. I keep reading on other boards that this kit is turning hair orange. I Need feedback, anyone? :)

yeah, i would also like to know how well it works. I read in cosmo that it was fool-proof....but then they can pay for them to say that, too!!!
I have used loreal highlights before and been really pleased with the results, but the one i used was with a cap...let us know if it works okay!!

Hi. I used it 2 weeks ago and it worked great.
My natural hair color is medium/dark brown. I have blue eyes and a fair complexion. I wanted to brighten my hair up. I can't remember exactly what color I used...it had Copper twist in the title. It was more expensive than the 1 step hair color - it cost me $21.95.

I would definitely recommend it.

Thanks for the replies....Now as I type this I have the first step color on...I am not leaving it on the whole recommended time because I have already bleached highlights...so I know my hair is more porous. I didn't apply any to the ends cause I knew they would absorb that color right up. I will post back later when I get the second step highlights on...Crosses fingers. ;)

How do you do the back on that haircolor (the highlights)?

Well I did it....First of all my color did not turn out like it looks like on the box. For one thing I had highlighted hair so most of it is a light auburn. The highlights were a bit difficult to do and in my opinion they don't give you enough highlighting stuff. I think it would be good if someone were to use this to have a friend help with the highlighting part. I could only highlight the front and sides of my hair, I already had pieces of lightened hair anyhow since I did have bleached highlights. All in all I do like it, but I wonder if I could have gottent the same results with another drugstore haircolor. PS. This did make my hair very shiny and the texture is very nice. :).

What color did you guys use? I'm asian with brown/black hair, most of the colors I've tried doesn't really stand out in my hair. Any one with before/after pictures of their hair?

I recently used L'Oreal's Experte Colour, macaroon brown, and as a result I have....really red hair. My hair (medium dark brown) tends to turn red when I put color on it....but I didn't expect this. I don't hate it but I don't particularly like it and I won't use it again. I am disappointed.

My hair color doesn't look a thing like the model's hair color on the box. I am RED! Unquestionably RED and it's a fake sort of red. When I am outside in the sun, I glow.
