Hiya, I found this site by accident and was looking up my symptoms and found this board. I have so many of the symptoms of TMJ that it could be me writing any of these posts! The thing is, I had never heard of TMJ (and still dont know exactly what it is??!) and am wondering how I would go about getting it diagnosed, and if I was diagnosed with it what is the treatment?
thanks in advance

I have had TMJ problems for over ten years, but have never been formally diagnosed with it until I was seeing a Chiropractor for an auto accident and he heard my jaw popping and asked me. He told me that TMJ can be treated sucessfully with Chiropractic care. Is this true or has anyone found something that works really well? I have already lost a tooth to this and am afraid I'll be losing another one. Not to mention the constant popping and locking in my jaw. It's a pain, literally, and I would love to find something to help. :dizzy:
