Hello all, yes its been almost 60 days and I have NOT had a period. Every hpt test I take is negitive. I have no idea whats wrong. I have pain in my lower stomach, and back. Recently I've had alot of discharge (milky looking) ALOT of it. I've never had discharge like this. It doesnt burn when I pee or anything either. And I've also been really dizzy I don't know what that means either. lol I had a Dr. appoinment the other day but couldnt make it due to the Hurricain. *sigh* Going to try to make another one tomorrow. I've never been THIS late. Please someone help. Is it possible to be pregnant and none of the hpt's show up positiive. I've only taken cheap dollar store tests. Ty!

I can't really answer your question about if you are really pregnant or not, however, you have a couple of the symptoms. It is definately worth calling your doctor and explaining that the hpt are coming up negative, your pains, discharge and whatnot. He should make an immediate appointment to make sure if you are not pregnant that nothing else could be seriously wrong. I hope that if you are wanting (or not wanting) to be pregnant that your dreams come true. Keep us posted!

i took the cheapy dollar store preggo test (about 3) of them and all of them showed me that i was preggo so i can tell you they definatly work (these are the ones that cost a dollar) i got a faint line on the very first day that i was suppost to start AF.
anyway, i think you really need to see the Dr. (as you have planned to) and i cant say i have heard of ovulation with out a period following (unless a conception occured) but hpt are definatly accurate......sometimes if they are taken too soon they can read a neg...but i dont know if that would be your case or not. i guess only the Dr. could tell you for sure.
i hope everything works out for you.

It's unlikely you are pregnant. By now a positive result would have came up either with urine or blood. I recall reading you were prescribed something to bring on a period but did not take it incase you were pregnant, did the doctor do and ultra sound, blood work, anything that would lead them to think you were not pregnant?

At any rate 60 days late a positive result should have shown by now. Did the dr. do any tests when they prescribed you the meds?

The dr did an ultra sound.. everything was normal. I wondering if it is possible to ovulate without having a period first (bleeding)? My period is usually every 41 days, I went to the Dr on the 1st of Sep. which was day # 40. I should have started my period the next day but I didnt. I didn't BD for almost 2 weeks before I went to the Dr but the day after I went to the Dr(day AF should have arrived) We BD everyday after.. Just a little Info. THanks for helping!

Are you ttc? I would go back and have a blood test done, if you aren't pregnant take the meds to clean you out.

It is rare...but definately possible for you to be pregnant and not show up on HPT's. My best friends mother's didn't find out she was pregnant with her first 2 children until well into the 3 months. HPT's aren't always foolproof either...I have a history of low HCG in early pregnancy. Both my pregnancies I had hospital urine tests come up negative but blood work confirm the opposite. I would definately ask for a quantitive HCG blood test because they are 100% accurate, and if it turns out your HCG is negative then at least you will have piece of mind knowing you can take to medications you mentioned. Goodluck.

Hopefully they can either confirm or deny your suspisions with a blood test or an ultra sound. By now, I would guess they would be able to see something in there. When do you go to the doctor? Have you thought about a chemical pregnancy? I went back and refreshed my memory on your situation, you said you got a faint line and then now you are getting negetives.I hope all goes well for you and you can find out if you are pregnant or not. Good luck

Well the blood test was negitive. I don't really understand it. I THINK I may have ovulated last week. Because I had a weird discharge. I didnt think you could Ovulate unless you bled. *sigh* Maybe AF will show or something... Anyone have any similar situations? 2 months no period...

This is exactly what happened to me, I kept going to the Dr's but they told me that they could not help me to conceive until it had been a year without any sucess. So it has now been a year since I have had a period and the Dr's finally saw that there was a problem. They told me that 2 things could stop me from having a period, thyroid or the pituitary gland. Well my thryoid tests came back normal so I had an MRI done of my pituitary gland because it is located on the bottom of the brain and controls all of the hormones in your body. Well they found 2 tumors and now I am see an Endocranologist to try to get my hormones under control. Please, ask your Dr for thyroid tests as well as an MRI with and without contrast, that is an injection. They would not have seen the tumors I have without the contrast. The symptoms are so close to those of pregnancy I was constantly getting pregnancy tests but always negative. The main symptoms of a pituitary tumor is no periods, headaches, dizziness, nausia, leaking from the nipples, and vision problems. I do not have all of these symptoms and some I have are not listed here. Please keep us updated and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I am sorry to hear that your blood test came back negetive. A friend of mine was in the same situation and took the pills to bring on a period and now she is getting AF on her own. It's a good sign by getting a period, she is now ovulating. I would suggest taking the pills to bring on a period. Good luck to you.

You mentioned that you didn't think you could ovulate without bleeding. That is sort of right, but I'm not sure what you meant by it.
You can have a 350 day cycle. If you ovulate during that cycle, for most women it would be around day 336 (about 14 days BEFORE your next period). You can't count on ovulating on a certain day of your cycle (you can't say "I always ovulate on day 17 of my cycle" or "I always ovulate on day 12 of my cycle"), because different factor like stress can affect when you release the egg. But once you HAVE ovulated whether on day 12, day 17, or day 346, one of two things is absolutely guaranteed. Either:
1. You will have a period approx. 10-16 days after you ovulated OR
2. You will not have a period because you are pregnant.
Those are the only two options. (Of course I am generalizing. I'm sure somewhere out there, there is a woman who had something different happen, but basically, those two are it.)
Like me. Sometimes I had a 34 day cycle, in which case I ovulated on cd22 (I know that for me, from the time of ovulation until the day I get my next period is 13 days. For each woman, that length usually stays exactly the same).
Sometimes I had a 52 day cycle, in which case I ovulated on day 40. But, there is no way I could have known this without charting my cycles.
If you are pretty sure you ovulated, I would just wait for a natural period. REmember, if you ovulated for certain, either you will get your period within 16 days after ovulation, or you are pregnant. If you are certain you ovulated, I DEFINITELY would not take the provera now because 1. there is a chance you could get pregnant this cycle, and 2. if you're not pregnant, at this point your natural period will come sooner than the provera induced one.

Thank you LawGirl. I think its a good possiblity that I ovulated because of this strange discharge and the extreme wetness (TMI). I AM going to wait on the provera unless in around 2 weeks I still dont have a period and a BPN on a hpt. Its just the waiting, I guess, that makes everyone crazy.

Well, I've had high blood pressure on and off since I was 14. Just started to moniter it more closely here lately. I've been a bit dizzy and still no period. But other than that I dont have any of the other symptoms you mentioned above. Thanks for helping, I will mention this at my next Drs appointment.

60 Days is a long time to skip a cycle. How is your stress? Are you over exerciseing? There are alot of reasons you could skip cycles. I would go to the doc asap. My thoughs are with you.

I have a friend who did not get a pos on the preg-test untill she was 19 weeks preg.
No I am not kidding.
Just go to the doctor.
In the end you will probably have spent as much on preg-tests.
And if you are not pregnant it is better to know why AF is not visiting.
Best wishes.
Helga
