Since I've lived in Northern climates almost my entire life I have often had dry, chapped lips in the winter. The best thing I have found is the Lip Balm from the Body Shop. They make it in many different flavors. I slather on a really thick layer after I brush my teeth to go to bed and then in the morning and throughout the next day I use a thin layer (like you'd use chapstick). Seriously there is a noticable difference after the first day and within 2-3 days usually the problem is completely gone. After that I just go back to chapstick or gloss as usual. Oh, and it's best if it's kind of soft--like if it's been in your pocket or a warm room--then you can really slather it on http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif Good Luck!

I have always relied on Carmex and have found nothing better especially for the price. When healed I can go to my regular lip gloss and Chapstick. Especially if they are dry and cracked and hurting..Carmex. I prefer the glide on tube or the stick the one in the jar seems to stiff and will hurt to put it on if your lips are sore but if warm then no problem.
