Hi Everyone,
Can anyone tell me what I can take to get my energy back. I have anxiety and panic so I ahve to be careful not to take anything "stimulating" such as caffeine. I am on 5 mg of paxil and klonopin but I do not feel it is the drug as it has come and gone for a long time. I get so tired I am almost whoozy and dizzy
Any suggestions for a pick me up?
THANKS!

thats probably your reason for your lack of energy- quit taking prescription drugs!!! A pill is not gonna cure anyones ill ......Just take a high dose multi vitamin twice a day. Try a multi B-complex with higher doses such as the 100 mg.....

The B complex is a good idea, but I think it is better to get the B-50 and take it twice a day if you want higher doses. Also extra niacin and vitamin C might help with the anxiety (and tiredness, too,) because they both help block excess adrenaline and besides that they have other benefits.
The vitamins might help and I think they are good to take even for a person who is feeling good already but there are a lot of things that can make a person feel tired and so you might need to do other things, too. I know that candida overgrowth is one thing that can cause tiredness. Have you tried doing an internet search to find what might be causing your tiredness?

I started taking a supplement called Cordyceps Sinesis for my asthma. It was recommended by a pharmacist that told me of its origin in the Far East. The sheep herders of the Himilayans trotted up into the thin air of the mountains with little exertion because they munched on these certain type of mushrooms. It is recommended for any kind of respiratory problems and fatigue. A lot of people use it right before a work out to get maximum use of their lung capacity. The excess oxygen goes to all the muscles so you don't get as tired. I noticed it gives me energy and a sense of well being. Also I have read it is good for blood pressure. I also drink a green drink called Green Defense thats loaded with stuff. It gives me a boost naturally!!

Hello byrdleg
I also had your same problem. But i just take caffine all the same because i am just too tired to go without it. Yes it seem to make me more anxiety too. I have been trying to kick off caffine for the past few months. But very difficult. When i almost kick off caffine suddenly i will go back to drinking in megar dose. I am referring to thick black coffee, no sugar or milk. It is so bitter that after i drank i felt the bitterness in my mouth. Also i get diarrhoea often after just that single thick black bitter coffee cup. However i sitll drink. I hope one day i can kick out coffee.
I took ginkobiloba. It is good. try it. It increases cerebral oxygenation and thins your blood. but just make sure you are not taking warfarin, a blood thiner while taking ginko, doing so will results hemorrhage.
Oh and the vitamin B i took it too but yet to see the great results as i never take it in mega dose. First i am worry taking megar dose will cause me to require this specific mega dose for a life time such as people see effects at a lower dose but i have to at a higher dose. Hope u get what i mean. Secondly my pharmacies in my country NEVER sell such a high does per tablet for a B complex. Recently i check that the highest dose was B6 20mg only. And the rest B vitamins less than 100mg. Perhaps too much is not too good.
Hope we will both get well from this! ;)

byrdleg, try the following:
1. Vitamin E (not at night!)
2. CQ 10
3. R+ Lipoic Acid
These have helped me greatly. You can buy the first two inexpensively at a Costco. Buying on-line, you can really overpay at some sights. God bless! Dave

Have you tried energy bars? There is one in particular that I have come across that is called Rampage. It's at Vitamin Shoppe. It's got the same ingredients in it as Red Bull, not so much caffeine that is the stimulant, but it's less abrasive cousins, taurine and l-tyrosine.
