Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone had a bone scan to diagnose cervical problems. In previous posts I mention having an mri and emg. mri came up with mild anterior spondylosis(doc doesn't think that's causing problem)and mild scoliotic positioning, emg came back abnormal. The previous posts have more detail if your interested. I just came back from the doctor and am very frustrated. I can't take the pain anymore. I'm on flexeril, vicadin, neurontin and just added different anti anflam. bextra?. I'm due to see the neurologist on Oct. 1. I'm wondering if this bone scan is a waste of my time and money.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I had a bone scan a few years ago for a problem with a broken rib that didn't heal. It is vewry detailed, and they can look at every bone in detail on computer.

It took a long time to do it. You have to lay flat and not move for a long time...like 45 minutes to 1 hour if I remember right.
