Wow this is embarrassing---but I don't know what to do about the hair down there!! When I shave, I get razor burns. Any suggestions?! Any is there a certain style?

There's no simple, quick fix for hair removal anywhere. A lot of people complain about razor burn, waxing will give you some ingrowns to deal with and depilatory creams can be messy. I have heard that the best time to shave your pubic area is after a warm shower/bath and to use hair conditioner instead of soap/shaving cream.

I tend to stick to waxing as the more i wax the finer the hair comes back and some don't even come back. I'd rather deal with the odd ingrown than have to try and get a smooth shave every day.

Ooops, forgot about style.......basically what ever takes your fancy and if you have a partner he/she might have some suggestions. The only good thing about hair growing back is that you can vary the style. Take it ALL off one time and next time try something entirely different. Everyone is going crazy about the Brazilian right now, but i'm sure if you do a search on the net there should be places which discuss 'style'.

Don't be embarrassed! I recently started shaving it all off, but have had it with the itchiness. I bought some Parissa wax strips, but the directions say to let the hair grow out for a couple of weeks for the best results if you have been shaving, so I am playing the waiting game. I really feel much cleaner and less sweaty ( I live in a hot humid climate) down there since shaving it all off. I am not looking forward to the waxing pain, but they say it will get less painful as you go along. Be sure and trim down to about 1/4 inch and powder the area before waxing, if that's what you choose. Good luck!

You may have seen this on other message boards, but you need to search on the Internet for the Midas Touch 8000 shaver. This is an electric razor set that’s specifically designed for shaving pubic hair. From everything I’ve heard from people who have this product, they say that it’s amazing!! No razor burn, no red bumps, and it gets you as smooth as shaving with a razor. Sounds too good to be true but read some of the comments on the website that sell this razor.
