I haven't been to the boards in a while so thought I'd stop in and say Hi  and let you all know I joined Curves today. I am pretty excited about it and go tomorrow to find out everything I will be doing. I plan to walk from my house to Curves every morning if possible. Its about half a mile plus a huge hill to walk back up so this should do me some good. I am still sticking to the no carb diet. It seems to fit me right now in my life so I really hope in a couple months I can report some weight loss and have a happier outlook on this diet thing :D
Hope everyone is well and doing great!

Westvirginiagirl, I want to wish you luck on Curves. I believe that as long as you stick to the exercise program, no matter which one, you will see results. Exercising also motivates one to eat healthier. I find that when I don't exercise, I am more likely to make bad choices in food. When I exercise, I eat better thinking that I don't want the exercise to be negated by bad eating. Good luck and stick with it. It may take a few weeks to see results, but I guarantee you will see them. Also, when you exercise, the weight you lose is more likely to stay off than when you just diet. Hope to hear good news from you in a few weeks. Nikki

Hi. Which diet are you on specifically?

Hi jojo...I am doing the atkins diet. Seems to be the best one I can find that has some foods I like.

Hi Nikki
Thank you so much for the kind words and it is very true what you said about exercising and it making you want to choose better foods.
Take Care and I'll post results when I have some :)
