I have had for about a year now, a red patch near the base of my penis. Its about half the size of a one cent coin and looks a bit like a burn mark or a burst blister. The skin is very smooth and red. It occassionally gets a tiny bit itchy. I've got checked out for all STD's and everything came back negative. However when I suggested to Doc the possibilty of a yeast infection, he dismissed it saying that the symptoms were not those of a yeast infection and did not test me for a yeast infection. Does anyone know if it could be? Or alternatively does anyone have any idea what it might be?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Is the tissue raised and red? Has it changed in appearance at all? This is a slight possibility only, but since your doc hasn't given you any ideas. {removed}

The skin is red and raw looking but not really raised. As I said it looks like a burn mark or burst blister and is about half the size of a one cent coin. What do you think it may be?

Could you have been bitten by something, such as a tick?
