About 6 weeks ago I had unprotected sex with a female and it could of been
the dumbest thing I could of ever done. After I had sex with this female I noticed the next day that I had little red dots on top of my penis. I was really scared, but I decided not to get tested. Well a month past by I started to get itching on my penis and body aches and also my testicals were aching. I was so, scared and decided to get tested for STD's. The Chlamydia and Gonorrhea came back as negative but for some reason the HIV and the Syphilis were labled wrong, so the lab did not accept them. Well another 2 weeks past by and I noticed that I started to get other symtoms like flu-like symptoms, body aches, fatigue, headaches and very bad stomach. I was even more scared beacuse I'm the type of person to not get sick often. I decided to go back to the dept. of health and get re-tested for HIV and Syphilis last tuesday and I'm just waiting for my results. I recently have been getting a little better, with no flu-like sytoms like a fever but I still have not had to much energy and have had pressure headaches and still a bad stomach and chest pains and back ache. I have not been able to sleep right the last couple of weeks and I have being praying to God that I'm not positive on HIV. It seems like the symptoms I have been getting are HIV related.
I also had heard that the female I had sex with, had really been sleeping around a lot during the time she was with me and heard that she had been sick lately with a cold, sore thoart and flu-like symptoms also.
I was wondering if anybody else has had these same sypmtoms before and everything turned out okay or not. I also wanted to know if you can get all these sypmtoms from just being worried and maybe anxiety. I really want to know what is going on with me, so I can live my life again. I hope this information does not affend anybody and I hope I could get some advise, comfort and help....
I should get my results by the end of the week, I hope it all turns out okay...

I also was wondering if it can be another STd like HPV....

I don't think there are too many doctors on these boards and they couldn't tell you if you were infected by hearing about your "symptoms" anyway.

As you will probably know from your own research, HIV breaks down the body's immune system, therefore, just about any health problem you could think of could be associated with HIV.

You have done the right thing getting tested, just try not to worry about this too much until your results come through.
