I posted this in the lung cancer section to someone who had just lost her husband. In case you don't go to that board, this poem is great. It's always hardest on the ones left behind. We know they are in a better place - that doesn't make it any easier because we miss them. I read a poem at my brother's funeral last month and would like to share it.

Hi sawbuck- It was me that you posted that poem for, and I read it everyday. I hope many others will enjoy it as much as I do. Since Scott's passing, my emotions are very hard to describe. I am still numb and in shock somewhat. It is a very lonely world that I live in now. I want to see him, talk to him, touch him, hear him.. anything! So, I am not totally numb, I guess.
My oldest sister keeps saying "you are 33, it is not fair that you have lost the love of your life". I think something you and I have learned from cancer is, it is not picky, it will take anyone, any age.
I could go on and on about how I feel, but I won't, it will not change a thing today, I will save it for later.
