View Full Version : anyone had "reduced symptoms"?

Hello!

I haven't had a "full blown" attack (the room spinning round) since 12 July waheey!!! :D

But a few times I have had mini-versions. This morning being the latest and strongest of these mini attacks. I feel quite similar to when I have a full blown attack but on a kind of smaller scale.

Instead of the whole room spinning round, my eyes were twitching between what feels like 2 closer points (unpleasant to someone that's never had the room spinning but MAJORLY nicer than the "usual" to someone that has!) I feel very tired, bit head-tippy/off balance and have a bit of earache in left ear. Also felt very hot when I first turned over in bed and it happened.

Just wondered if anyone else has experiened anything similar (their symptoms lessening as it were) and if it's a positive sign that perhaps I am making progress?

I couldn't decide whether I was hot or cold after that and didn't fancy trying to sleep sitting up (yaay haven't had to sleep sitting up for a while!) And if I wasn't completely upright my eyes kept drifting uncomfortably with that ol' head pressure (again this pressure was much less than the other attacks have been). So I came online and wrote this post!

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! ;)

P.S. I have been seeing a physio to see if my neck stiffness and clickiness is related to the imbalance and I think it may be helping. I feel centred and focused when I come out (don't you just hate feeling "unfocused/off balance"? Yuck, yuck, yuck!) Also he has given me some exercises to do that should not only help my neck loosen up but should help my other senses compensate for what's not doing it's job properly.

He has also been more helpful than the ENT doctors seem to have been. He seems to be less sombre, has more time for me and helps me plan how to get better, like teaching me the exercises, telling me to record how I feel so I can tell him and suggesting setting goals for myself.

Sorry this post has been so long!
Hope to hear from you soon

~Katkin!~
