I have had Crohns for a few years and am taking Pentasa and doing OK.
I recently began to have some nuerological symptoms, anyway one thing led to the other and my doctor thinks that I could have Celiac based on a blood test. The thing is I eat alot of wheat and I feel like if I had a probem with wheat I would be in worse shape after eating it.

Then again, maybe many of Crohns symptoms are due to Celiac.
I also may no ne as sensitive to wheat.
As you can see I am pretty confused.

If you can shed any light I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Have you tried eliminating wheat and see how you feel? (You may not notice that you feel a whole lot better stopping wheat, but see how you feel when you start eating it again.) But if you end up having no problems eating wheat, I don't think it can be celiac.

celiac is a funny disease, bacuz you can have no symtoms what so ever..yep..but, i don't get it, if you have chrons shouldn't you be on the gluten free diet...thats th only thing that will help you get better..

Thanks for the replies.
I am taking Pentasa for the Crohns which is helping.
I do think diet can control Crohns as well.
