ok. I'm kinda freaking out here. I had a pain in my right side yesterday right under my rib cage. It was an annoying pain but not excruciating but I do have a very high tolerance to pain. The pain was gone this morning but for the past 2 days or so my urine has been dark yellowish orange in color despite the fact that I have been drinking lots of water (I thought that was strange since I have been hydrated). So this morning I urintated and after I was done, I noticed a small black what appeared to be a stone in the toilet. Now mind you, I was at a public bathroon in work and the toilets have not been flushing properly so now I don't know if it was already in the toilet and I just did not see it before I went. I'm concerned now. Does anyone have any thoughts on this. Oh yeah, I have been nauseated too.

Thanks.

There's a good chance it could have been a stone. The dark urine could have been bloody which is common with stones. Also....nausea is a sign of renal colic when the stone is stuck and clogging things up. Did the symptoms go away? They would have & it would be a good idea to drink plenty of fluids...water & cranberry juice, to keep things flushing out in case there's anything left behind. If you're still experiencing pain or any other symptoms, it might be wise to see your MD....Goody

Thanks for responding Goody. No, I feel fine now. As a matter of fact, I did drink a lot of water afterwards and urinated again and it was pale yellow and no stone. Is it possible to just pass one stone and then be just fine? I have no knowledge or experience with this type of thing. Thanks.
