Okay... this one is for the women in the group...
The other day I was washing up 'down there' and I don't think I got all of the soap cleaned away, and then I put a tampon in. The next few days, whenever I put a tampon in, it really hurt... like I could feel it going all the way in. I'm on the pill, so I usually only have my period for like 3-4 days, but it went away for a day, but now it's come back, but it doesn't look like period blood... did I do something by having the soap up inside of me?

I know medical experts always warn women against washing their genital area with soap because it cn cause irritation, but if you don't use soap, an odor starts to develop. O.o
I very very very much doubt that some soap suds would alter your period. Something tells me that it's probably some other crazy hormonal thing going on with your body. As for the pain...well, you got me there. I don't know what would cause pain while inserting a tampon that would otherwise be applied painlessly. Maybe you were a little tensed up when you put the tampon in? I don't know...you really have me stumped on that.
.........
I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help to you. But I hope your pain subsides soon ^-^

Yeah, I'm not sure about the hormone imbalance because I've been on this pill for 3 months and it has really helped out. I'm not sure what the pain is caused by either.. I have been using tampons for years and haven't had this pain since I first started. I don't know if maybe the first tampon I insterted retained the soap and caused a reaction... ? As for the bleeding.. I don't know what it is, but it needs to stop because I'm already anemic! LOL
