I was just commenting on another thread and was mentioning that I had had acupuncture and wanted to know if anybody had the same luck I did with it? I did a search for it in the archives of this board but didn't find too much info.

I started acupuncture at the beginning of the summer and was extremely skeptical of it. I was picturing frankly, a lot of absolute nonsense; candles and Enya is sort of what I had in mind. I could not possibly have been more wrong. I was lucky enough that my health insurance covered me for about 3 solid months of acupuncture. I went at a point when I had very little hope about getting better, I had just accepted being in pain every second of every day. Now however, after acupuncture, my headaches are pretty much gone and my jaw pain is significantly better. That's definitely not to say that it's all gone, I still get flare ups and my jaw is still stiff, but I'd say it's gotten at least 50% better since I've had acupuncture (which is a small miracle for me!)

Anyways, I was wondering if anybody had tried acupuncture with the same results (or no results at all for that matter). It's truly awful what everybody on this board is going through so I figured if something actually is working, I should darn well post about it! ;)

Ok, enough rambling for me. Hope to hear about some of your experiences!
