hey guys, i was just on the weight loss board, and there must have been over 80 replies to a post about people using CLA, which stands for Conjugated Lyoneac (sp?) Acid, and how they bought it at gnc, and it has helped almost each and every one of them lose weight more rapidly, and speed up their metabolism, one person even said they got to their goal weight, and dropped 50 or 60 lbs...what im wondering is, are any of you on this board familiar with this dietary supplement, and have any of you used it, or are currently using it? Its derived from 100% safflower oil, and I hadnt heard of this supplement, until earlier today and I plan to purchase a bottle as soon as I get a chance, and I would just like some more feedback from you guys, also fyi, its all natural and ephedra free, its not a weight loss pill, so it is safer than most other OTC diet weight loss products out there...if you guys could fill me in, id feel a lot better, knowing a little more about how it helped more people out there...

I've been taking conjugated linoleic acid for about 14 months. I lost about ten pounds in the first three months but since then have not lost anymore. I'm not really trying to lose more weight, though. If anything, I'd like to add more weight as muscle (ideally while losing fat too).

hey bonn, thank u for responding to my post, and congrats on ure weight loss...thats great! give ureself a pat on the back!...i dont wanna build muscle either, however muscle does burn calories and fat faster, by having them...lol darn those men for being so lucky, it seems all of them r naturally born with a great body even though a lot of them dont even work out! i did wanna fill u in on the CLA, i got it yesterday, and today was my first day i started the "3 a day" regimen, and i dont really feel any different...i just hope it works, cuz im on birth control, and that made me gain weight before, and i dont want that to happen again...i worked so hard to lose the already 10 lbs i have lost in the past 5 or 6 mths, it would suck if i gained it all back from a pea sized pink tablet...but i guess thats how things go....good luck on ure weight loss adventures and thanks again for the advice...
