I remember hearing somewhere that white spots on your fingernails mean you are lacking something. I forget what that "something" is. I have white spots on a lot of my nails and wonder what they signify.

Thanks

If I remember correctly, the thing lacking could be zinc. You can get more info in health books and health search. I get them too.

I looked it up a few postes back and it is like a bruise on your nail....they said it is a old wives tale about the calcium! :)

How would I get a bruise on every nail without knowing it?

Hi.....
I heard it is zinc too. When I was about 13 and noticed these spots, my mom said they were "How many boyfriends you have". Don't u love these little tales... like a cousin of mine with lots of freckles says "They are from cow farts" Full of funny stuff.... Send more funny diagnoses?
