HeY! just wondering.. if you use the pill correctly (dont miss ANY days and take it at the same time, and no other medication) and you use pulling out as a method.. is it practically impossible to get pregnant?? because the pill is over 99% positive you wont get pregnant if used PERFECTLY.. so with both methods is it pretty much perfectly safe?

Its highly unlikely. Not impossible though. If you have breakthrough ovulation and pre-ejaculate it would be possible.

I guess it will determine on the person. There are some people who claim that when they were on the pill they got pregnant. I personally believe that they more then likely were taking it wrong. Sure it is possible or it would be 100% So its a possibility a SMALL possibility.
For me on the otherhand. I was on the pill for 4 yrs and never took it at the same time everyday but I just made sure that I at least took 1 a day. Also I didnt' use the pullout method. I never used a condom and just let him go in me and I didnt have a problem! So I guess it just depends on the person! Good Luck

I've always heard the only thing 100% is abstinence but that certainly isn't any fun. If you're having sex, I think there's always a chance and I think there are a lot of babies out there who sit right in with that .02% possibility category. But it sounds to me like you are probably safer than someone who isn't actively using the methods you are to prevent pregnancy.

The "pull out method" is really not a reliable form of birth control. A man will still have some sperm come out before he ejaculates at the end. I know, my daughter is a product of the "pull out method", lol. If you use a condom and birth control pills, that would be extra protection, but still not 100%. The only way to be 100% safe is to not have sex at all.

a magazine said that there is a 70somthing % chance of pregnancy within a year from the pull out method... but i figured when using the pill also using pulling out wouldnt hurt. i prefer not to use condoms.. they are uncomfortable and lead to more vaginal tears for me, and of course my boyfriend would rather not either.
