Does anyone know of Fishoil that doesn't taste fishy all day long? I have tried several brands and they ALL do it?

There are enteric coated fish oil supplements out there. Although more expensive, they are designed to dissolve in the intestine instead of the stomach. Try your local healthfood or vitamin store, such as "The Vitamin Shoppe". You should be able to find such a fish oil supplement at these places.

Yes! Try FISOL brand fish oil. They are enteric coated as Arizona said, and I promise, you will never get a fishy taste. I take three per day, my husband takes them and even my 14 year old daughter takes one a day. She would NEVER take them if they tasted fishy!
Good luck. :)

I had this problem when I first took fish oil supplements, but ever since taking Vitamin World EPA Natural Fish Oil, 1000mg, plus taking them during or at the beginning of a meal, I never have the taste problem anymore. If I take them at the tail end of the meal or not with a meal, yes, I taste them. So, before spending the big $$, maybe you could try taking them at the beginning of your meals and see how that works out. BTW, those Vit World ones are less than $20 for 500 1000mg softgels, on sale (this coming Mo, Tu).

There is a brand that Walmart carries (Spring Valley, I think) and they have enteric coated ones. The enteric coated ones do not taste like fish and have no fishy odor or aftertaste. I messed up when I went to restock mine and bought the ones that are not enteric coated. Yuck.....

I use Carlson's Fish Oil with lemon taste. It comes in a 6.7 oz bottle and costs about $16.00. Mix one teaspoon at mealtime or can be mixed with food. No fish taste or after taste.

Hi Needhealing -
I have found a product called Coromega - it is pharmaceutical grade and molecularly distilled. The distillation means that it is super pure. Supposedly it makes it less likely to have mercury in it. This is one of the supplements that you don't want just go for the cheapest due to the prevelance of mercury in our fish these days.
This product comes in convienent packets. It is not a pill. It has a pudding like texture and tastes like orange pudding - sort of. It does have stevia in it to give it a little flavor. Stevia is a natural sweetner. There is no fishy smell or taste and no fish burps.
It is not cheap though. For 28 packets - one a day - it was $19.95 where I bought it.

I also forgot to add that consumerlab, at their web site, reviewed fish oil supplements. This is one reason I've stuck with the Vitamin World ones...
Question for moderator, can we post a company's name if it has the .com ending? Not promoting a web site, but a company. ??
