Hi well first off my doctor gave me Ovcon35 birth control to help my endometerios (sp?) anyways im 15 years old and started using the pill on the 8th of august. well my doctor told me not to take the sugar pills so i wont get a period at all... well ive been spotting for the last month and a half and this sunday i started to get really big blood clots and alot of blood.. (mainly the blood when i wake up and the clots during the day) so anyways i was wondering if this was normal and if i should try to stick it out until FEB. (my next apointment)

also could this be a sign of pregenancy while on the pill... i know you dont get your period while preg. but im worried so ya know... thanks!

I'm not sure why your doctor is telling you to skip the sugar pills and just go to the beginning of the next package. It seems kind of odd. My doctor certainly doesn't recommend it to me - only on rare occasions, such as wanting to skip a period for a vacation or special occasion.

However, the few times I have done this, I have bled mid-cycle, and at the end of my cycle. And yes, the blood is thicker, with more clots. I'm pretty sure I have endometriosis - so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I just know I don't skip my sugar pill time if I can avoid it (while I'm on the pill, that is)

I would try to get in to see the Dr sooner....like this week if possible. I don't think it's pregnancy but the clots and heavy bleeding don't sound right from what he told you to do with the pills...spotting on the other hand I can see but this sounds like more.
