View Full Version : What do you think of electric shavers?

Has anyone used an electric shaver for their armpits, legs and/or bikini area? I've never used one, but would like to know if any of them work well. Do any of them get your skin as smooth as a razor does? Are they OK to use on sensitive areas? Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

I tried one once and it didn't work for me. Maybe it was just the kind I used.

they do get you smooth but the results are seriously shorter than with a razor. i found it to be too much upkeep to use the electric. also it doesn't shave the armpit area or the bikini line too well

I use my husbands electric razor on my bikini area. I love it. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/t_up.gif I don't get those bumps that you get when you use a razor. The way I do it is use the sideburn trimmer and run the electric razor the way the hair grows. I actually get a very close shave. You don't have to worry about cutting yourself. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/eek.gif

I have a remington shaver and it doesn't seem to do the job as well as a regular raisor in my opinion. And like one other poster said it's too much to keep up with. Who knows though, maybe there are better ones out there.
