Does anyone know how to reach "Cymy Sue", a poster from Alabama? I need advice from her. Thanks.

Hi,
I'm sorry to hear you're having such awful problems. I know how bad it can get. May I ask who your surgeon was? No details needed. I was just curious if I knew him. I know many good ones in the area, but many times they do not provide follow-up care after a discectomy or do not agree with therapies that can help. Different Specialties in this "Field" just have different ideas about what can and does help. I had the same problem after surgery and "went looking" on my own.
I "Thank" the members here for opening my eyes to options and possibilities that I didn't know existed.
I'll be glad to help if I can.

Cymy Sue, I am the lady you talked to on the phone about a year ago from Cullman. I made the mistake of having the surgery and now I am seeking help from you on the after effects. I know you told me of a good dentist at UAB, but cannot remember who it was.
My surgery was done by Dr. Koslin, who came highly recommended. The problem is I don't trust him or my general dentist anymore and am in worse shape than before. Wish I had listened to you and not had it done.
Thanks for any help.

Hi,
I am sorry to hear you're still having problems. It's so very common with TMJ surgeries of any kind.
My surgeon was at UAB.
My Dentist is Dr. Robert Connor. He's near Brookwood Medical Center.
He does have experience working with those of us who have had surgeries. In my case, many.
I am still doing wonderful with the splint he designed for post-surgical pain and problems.
I still see the Massage Therapist who put you in touch with me and told you about this group. (I've had some shoulder problems recently).
She is very skilled in helping with any muscular problems you might be having.
I hope this helps.
Take Care,
Cymy Sue
