I was told aprox 4 years ago that I have morton's neuroma in both feet. The one doctor tried some kind of shots in my right foot but they did not seem to work so I finally just stopped going to him since all he wanted to do was the shots.
When I broke my toe last year I went to another foot doctor to have my toe looked at and mentioned the morton's neuroma but he just kept having me come back and soaking my feet so I got discusted and gave up trying to get some help for my feet.
I do have arthritis in both feet but when I went to the first doctor about the foot pain which was in the ball of my feet and felt like I had a rock under my skin and he told me I had the morton's neuroma between my third and fourth toes in both feet and I also found out I have extra bones in both feet.
Since I have not been able to get any help from a foot doctor is there any other kind of doctor I might consult about getting surgery to help rid my poor feet of the pain?

Pam, Im new here and was wondering if you ever got any more help and if so what did you end up doing? HOw is your foot doing now?
I have this pain in my right foot, went to a foot doc and she said "pressure points"...I aked if it were my weight (I gained alot of weight due to quitting smoking!)...but even asking her if I were to lose alot of weight would the pain go away she said no. The pain is getting worse and moving more closer (on the bottom) on the inside part of my arch towards the heel a little but still pain at the 3rd and 4th toes/top arch =right side area). Gosh its hard to describe the exact place on the pain! Arggh!~
Hope you are doing well now!?!
