I wanted to know if acid reflux causes or can cause a metallic taste in the mouth? Would something like prilosac (or whatever it is) help?

Hi. I heard of acid reflux causing a bad taste in your mouth because of the acid, but never heard of it causing a metallic taste. Certain medications, particularly antibiotics will cause this to happen, and is actually happening to me right now.

I was on Cipro for about a week taking 1000mg a day (twice a day) and stopped it 3 days ago. Do you think that's causing this annoying taste in my mouth? I tried chewing cinnamon gum, but that really didn't help at all!
