i have to scrub the corners of my nose in order to remove the dry skin. i have pretty good skin, i never have to wash my face with any acne medicines. the only thing i do is apply a mask about once every 2 weeks. i put on neutrogena lotion around my nose right after the shower. anyone have any advice or good products to use? im afraid if i use an intense lotion i will break out.

Masks can be very drying. For me the best thing I've found for dry skin around the nose is vitamin E... it's been a life saver for me, especially when I get a cold or sinus infection. It used to get so bad for me after a cold it would take my nose months to recover, but I've never ever had a problem since I started using vitamin E. Sometimes I just break open the vitE capsules or else I use vitamin E oil or vaseline with vitamin E... the vaseline with vitE I use a lot during a cold because it helps with the chaffing from tissue as well as the dry skin. I just rub the oil in at night until it's all absorbed and then I rub some more in.
